Mary Mears Obituary

Mary Joy Mears, age 83 of Springfield, TN died Friday January 15, 2016 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Monday January 18, 2016 in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Donald H. Kelley officiating. Burial will be Tuesday January 19, 2016 at 12 pm in Springfield Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 11 am until the hour of service at 1 pm.
Mrs. Mears was born January 13, 1933 in Roaring Hollow, Mississippi to the late Henry Sullivan and Mary Edna Pounds Harrison. She was of the Church of Christ faith and was a retired business agent for the Teamsters Union.
Surviving her are her husband, John Mears of Springfield; son, Donald H. Kelley of Springfield; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Faye Harrison of Jackson, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Virginia and Larry Maltby of Boyne Falls, Michigan and grandchild, Shawn Adam Kelley.
