Margaret Kermicle Obituary

Margaret Elizabeth Kermicle, 84, of Springfield, died Sunday June 25, 2017 at North Crest Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday June 28th at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Palestine Cemetery with Jeremy Pratt, Adam Parker, Taylor Parker, Nathan Dilliha, Grant Dilliha, Bobby Ruddick, and Tim Boman serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Barber, Roger Blackwood, and Dexter Reneer. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Kermicle was born September 10, 1932 in Macon, GA to the late Oscar and Gladys Jordon Nobles. She was a retired cashier from Springfield Wal-Mart. She was a member of Central Christian Church in Springfield, a member of the Christian Women Fellowship, and was a member of the Red Hats Ladies Society. Mrs. Kermicle loved gardening and flowers, but her special love was cooking and always making sure that everyone around her had plenty to eat. She published her own cookbook in 2000, "Family Favorites". She did two printings and sold out both times, with people still requesting a copy of the book. For over twenty-five years, she served as a foster parent to many children. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Jack and Paul Nobles.

Mrs. Kermicle is survived by her sons: David Kermicle of Houston, TX, Daniel (Kathy) Kermicle of Pulaski, and Carney (Dee Hallman) Kermicle of White House, by her daughters: Doylene (Charles) Knapper of Springfield, Denise (Marty) Parker of Springfield, Donna (Gary) Dilliha of Springfield, sisters: Louise Grizzard, Rose Pittman, and Mildred Donaldson all of Macon, GA, father of her children: Doyle Kermicle of Murfreesboro, fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren

Memorial contributions may be made to the Central Christian Church or to Heifer International
