Lacy Hinkle

George Lacy Hinkle, 83, of Greenbrier, died Thursday November 26, 2015 at NHC Healthcare in Springfield. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday November 29th at 2:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Bro. James Shoulders and Bro. Frank Kirby officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery in White House with TJ Hinkle, Brandon Hinkle, Dustin Hinkle, David Halpin, Kenneth Cooper, Josh Brewington, Blake Hinkle, and Hunter Halpin serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Hinkle was born June 12, 1932 in Robertson County to the late Wiley Edward and Winnie Hackney Hinkle. He was the retired owner and operator of Hinkle's Used Cars in Greenbrier. Mr. Hinkle was a member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church and a former member of the Robertson County Saddle Club. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter: Rita Lynette Hinkle, and by his siblings: Rachel Henderson, Naomi Fryer, Mildred Plumber, and Tracey Edward Hinkle.

Mr. Hinkle is survived by his wife: Helen Birdwell Hinkle, his sons and daughters-in-law: Jerry L. Hinkle of Myrtle Beach, SC, Terry L. and Dawn Hinkle of Greenbrier, grandchildren: Brandon (Paula) Hinkle, TJ (Cassie) Hinkle, Dustin Hinkle, Nikki (David) Halpin, Chelsea Hinkle, great grandchildren: Josh Brewington, Alexis Brewington, Blake Hinkle, Hunter Halpin, Aroura Hinkle, Natalie Hinkle, Hanah Halpin, Italy Hinkle, and McKenna Cooper.
