Horace Mitchell

Horace Mitchell, 68, of Springfield, died Thursday March 20, 2014 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. There will be a visitation with the family on Sunday March 23rd, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. at the Robertson County Funeral Home. Mr. Mitchell was born September 20, 1945 in Robertson County to the late Fletcher and Virginia Brooksher Mitchell. He had worked in previous years as a service writer in the Auto Repair field. Mr. Mitchell was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Ronnie and Kenneth Mitchell. Mr. Mitchell is survived by his wife: Peggy Rader Mitchell of Springfield, son and daughter-in-law: Scott and Margaret Duncan of Dallas, TX, daughters and sons-in-law: Patricia and Wesley McClelland of Joelton, Kimberly Scott of Mt. Juliet, Deidrea and Scott Moss of Centerville, sister: Gerry Babb of Mt. Juliet, seven grandchildren.
