Helen Buck Obituary

Helen Arms Buck, 96, of Goodlettsville, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday March 30, 2014, while surrounded by her family. A Celebration of her life will be conducted Friday April 4th at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Downing officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Clarksville with Richard Evitts, Daniel Evitts, Josh Evitts, Danny Fischer, Jim Stacey, and Roger Arms serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 12 noon until service time at the funeral home.
Mrs. Buck was born May 7, 1917 in Robertson County to the late Charles and Beulah Chance Arms. Following marriage, she moved with her husband to Davidson County. She was a homemaker and a private duty nurse. Mrs. Buck was a devoted member of Goodlettsville First Baptist Church. She loved her Lord and Savior and all of her family dearly. For the past eight years, she resided at Vanco Nursing Center. She blessed so many lives and was loved and admired for her happy, positive, and humorous spirit. Her passing will leave a void in the lives of everyone who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: James Louis "J.L." Buck, her daughter: Mamie Lundine, her brothers: Chester and Russell Arms, her sister: Eva Mastin, and her grandchildren: Kirk, Brenda Suzette, and Wayne Lundine, Jr. Mrs. Buck is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Jim and Betty Buck of Springfield, Ron and Mary Buck of Franklin, daughters and son-in-law: Anne and Jim Ethridge of McEwen, Carole Buck of Springfield, sister: Mildred Davis of Goodlettsville, grandchildren: Vickie (Ronny) Moran, Teresa (Danny) Fischer, Stacie (Patrick) Burke, Rick Ethridge, Robert Buck, E.J. Buck, Richard, Daniel, and Josh Evitts, great grandchildren: Kimberly and Michael Lundine, Miranda Sizemore, Spencer, Carter, and Tayler Burke, many beloved nieces and nephews
