Geraldine S. Patton

Geraldine S. Patton, age 90 of Springfield, died Thursday, June 18, 2015 at NHC Healthcare in Springfield. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, June 21, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home with Tony Cobb officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 4 until 7 PM and Sunday from 12 noon until the hour of service.
Mrs. Patton was born January 1, 1925 in Robertson County to the late Earl Dixon and Lou Emma Osborn Simmons. She was a member of Oakland Baptist Church and was retired from Tappan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Turner Lawrence Patton; brothers, Dixon and Carl Simmons; and sisters, May Nell Kirby and Lois Campbell.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Sam and Joyce Patton of Springfield; granddaughter, Jennifer Suho and husband Chris; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Lavelle Simmons of Springfield; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Rebecca Johnson of Greenbrier, Mattie Callis of Greenbrier, Earline and Jimmy Moore of Old Hickory, Shirley Cobb of Springfield, and Sue and David Glenn of Greenbrier.
