George Griffey Obituary
George Aaron Griffey, age 60 of Springfield, died Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at his home. Graveside services will be conducted Friday, November 13, 2015 at 1:00 PM in Powell Cemetery in Lafayette, KY. There will be no visitation prior to the graveside services.
Mr. Griffey was born January 5, 1955 in Robertson County to the late George Thomas and Eunice Mae Holland Griffey. He was a cab driver and had attended South Haven Baptist Church.
He is survived by his brother, Stephen Griffey of Shelbyville; nieces, Heather Laine of Pleasant View and Stephanie Griffey of Shelbyville; and several cousins.
