Frances Crawford Dorris

Frances Crawford Dorris, age 97 of Greenbrier, died Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the home of her daughter. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home with Reverend Frank Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Aaron Sanders, Joe Dorris, Sammy Dorris, Timothy Sanders, Geoffrey Sanders, and John Raymond Brown serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 4 until 8 PM and Tuesday from 11 AM until the hour of service.
Mrs. Dorris was born December 9, 1920 in Robertson County to the late A.B. and Pearl Wilson Crawford. She was a member of Gideon United Methodist Church and was a homemaker. Her passion was her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Dorris; a brother, Paul Harris Crawford; and her sister, Dorothy Lee Crawford Mayes.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Carl Mack and Patsy Dorris of Greenbrier; daughters and son-in-law, Carolyn and Michael Sanders of Greenbrier and Patsy Sircy of Greenbrier; brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Betty Crawford of Greenfield, IN; grandchildren, Joe Mack Dorris, Renee Tallent, Vanessa Sircy, Sandra Brown, and Michael Aaron Sanders; great grandchildren, Sammy Dorris, Shelby Dorris, Eric Tallent, Emily Tallent, Katy Sircy, Timothy Sanders, Geoffrey Sanders, Kelsey Pentecost, Abbey Brown, and John Raymond Brown; and great-great grandchild, Cade Warren Sanders.
