Fannie Head Obituary

Fannie Belle Head, 83, of Springfield, died Saturday June 27, 2015 at NHC Health Care Center in Springfield. Funeral services will be conducted Monday June 29th at 2:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Evans officiating. Interment will follow in the Oakland Cemetery with James Stiles, Jeremy Croslin, Byron Head, Serena Croslin, Kimberly Campbell, Mark Campbell, and Jim Stiles serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and on Monday from 12 noon until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Head was born November 28, 1931 in Robertson County to the late Charles Ovie and Bertha Elizabeth Garrison Bibee. She was a homemaker and a member of Oakland Baptist Church. Mrs. Head loved gardening, flowers, embroidery, drawing, and needle point. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Dorris Leonard Head, and by her siblings: Rayburn Bibee, Claude Bibee, and Vera Mae Long.

Mrs. Head is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Charles L. and Leesa Head of Nashville, Richard and Bonnie Head of Springfield, daughters and sons-in-law: Linda and Jim Stiles of Springfield, Debbie and Mark Campbell of Cedar Hill, grandchildren: James (Brooke) Stiles, Serena (Jeremy) Croslin, Rachel Head, Byron Head, Kimberly Campbell, and Ashlea Head, great grandchildren: Taylor and Amanda Croslin.
