Ethel Trammel Obituary

Ethel Mae Trammel, 98, of Adairville, KY, died Sunday April 13, 2014 at her home. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday April 16th at 1:00 p.m. at the Living Word Church in Adairville, KY with Pastor Charles Cowan, Pastor Bryan Cowan, Pastor Jason Cowan, and Pastor Phil Scott officiating. Interment will follow in the Berea Cemetery in Russellville, KY with Mark Allen, Bryan Cowan, Bruce Cowan, Jason Cowan, Kevin Prince, and Kevin Armistead serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Living Word Church and on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the church.

Mrs. Trammel was born January 9, 1916 in Logan County to the late Walter and Nora Lee Yates Hardin. She was a homemaker and a member of Living Word Church. Mrs. Trammel enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, and fishing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Marvin Trammel. Mrs. Trammel is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law: Carolyn Sue and Charles Cowan of Old Hickory, Nora Faye and Willis Allen of Adairville, KY, grandchildren: Bryan (Joyce) Cowan, Bruce (Carrie) Cowan, Jason (Loretta) Cowan, Jennifer (Steve) Crotts, Lavonne (Allen) Carver, Dana Cowan, Terri (Kevin) Prince, and Renea (Kevin) Armistead, eighteen great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren, and one great great great grandchild.

The family request memorial contributions be made to Living Word Church
