Donald Louis Abbott

Donald Louis Abbott, age 75 of Adairville KY, died Sunday June 29, 2014 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Memorial services will be conducted at 3 pm on Saturday July 5, 2014 at the Robertson County Funeral Home in Springfield, TN with Bro. Tom Lawhon officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday beginning at 2 pm. Mr. Abbott was born March 4, 1939 in Ohio Co., KY to the late Buna R. Abbott and Virginia Mourine Womack Abbott. During his life he worked as a crop duster, farmer and truck driver. In addition to his parents, Mr. Abbott was also preceded in death by his son; Jeff Abbott and brothers; Randall Abbott and Larry Abbott. Surviving Mr. Abbott are his son; Douglas C. Abbott of Smyrna, GA, daughter; Dayna Abbott of Adairville, KY, grandchildren; Garrett Abbott, Kennedy Hadden, both of Adairville and Jackson Abbott-Eggleston of Smyrna GA, first wife; Judith A. Meiners of Lexington, KY, second wife; Penny Eller Abbott of Adairville, KY, daughter-in-law; Leanne Abbott of Adairville, KY, sisters-in-law; Janice Clinard of Adairville, KY, Barbara Prather Johnson of Rocky Hill, KY, aunt; Maudine Womack of Oak Grove, KY and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
