Dean Prescott Obituary
Dean Charles Prescott, age 62 of Springfield, died Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at NorthCrest Medical Center. His remains are to be cremated and no services are planned at this time. His cremains will be entombed in Springfield Memorial Gardens at a later date.
Mr. Prescott was born February 22, 1953 in Canastota, NY to the late Hubert and Lillian Harp Prescott. He was retired from the United States Army with over 22 years of service in which he obtained the rank of Sargent First Class and was retired from the billing department of Nashville Electric Service. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and was of the Methodist Faith.
In addition his parents, Mr. Prescott was preceded in death by his wife, Anni Maria Markhof Prescott. He is survived by his daughters, Elfie Dotson and husband, Jake of Madison, AL and Anke Gassen of Carrboro, NC; brother, Gene Prescott and wife, Connie, of Arizona; and grandchildren, Isaac, Jason, Matthew, and Landon Dotson.
