Crystal Perez Evans

Crystal "Pistol" Perez Evans, 38, of Springfield, died Sunday April 9, 2017. Funeral services will be conducted Friday April 14th at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Bro. David Dickens officiating with Branden Evans, Jarrod Wilkerson, Andy Wilkerson, Michael Moses, Kevin Rogers and Jacob Sorel serving as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Bellwood Cemetery in Adams. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Crystal was born August 17, 1978 in Gulf Port, MS. She had worked in retail sales and was of the Baptist faith. Crystal enjoyed spending time with her children and her family, and she loved reading and dancing. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, John L. Sorel. Crystal is survived by her husband: Josh Evans of Springfield, sons: Bailey Johnson and Garett Perez both of Springfield, daughters: Gracie Perez and Kyleigh Evans both of Springfield, father: Travis "Binky" Perez of Pascagoula, MS, mother: Christy Sorel of Biloxi, MS, brother: Travis Perez, Jr., of Alabama, sisters: Candace Perez Fullton of Springfield, Amber Perez of Biloxi, MS, and Chassity Perez of Alabama, grandmothers: Martha Sorel and Kathy Stone, nieces: Madison and Jordyn Rogers, Daycee, Callie, Terrin, and Braylen Fullton, Hannah and Tiffany Schools, Jordan and Jayden Evans, Graclyn Self, Addisyn Self; nephews: Bill Poley, Sammie Poley, and Dalton Cawthon.

The family request memorial contributions be made to the Crystal Perez Evans memorial fund and be sent c/o Robertson County Funeral Home.
