Chris Stroud

Christopher Kenneth Stroud, 38, of Orlinda, died Thursday February 15, 2018 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday February 20th at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Dr. David Jicka officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Orlinda with Vince Hand, Greg Stroud, Justin Dorris, Kyle Tate, David Stroud, Derek Stroud, Ronnie Hyde, and Wade Stark serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Caleb Starks and John Robert Darrow. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Chris was born April 10, 1979 in Davidson County. He was employed in the construction department with Hollingsworth Oil Company, and he was the owner and operator of Stroud Decorative Concrete. Chris was a member of Orlinda Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: John Sory and Mildred Maxine Stroud.

Chris is survived by his wife: Tracey Stark Stroud of Orlinda, daughter: Brinley Maxine Stroud of Orlinda, parents: Ken and Cathy Morris Stroud of Springfield, sister and brother-in-law: Heather and Caleb Starks of Springfield, grandparents: Ray and Rebecca Morris of Springfield, nieces and nephew: Paige, Adison "Piddle", and Zane Starks, and by his in-laws: Ronnie and Dawn Stark of Orlinda. https://www.gofundme.com/55pseio
