Carrie Stewart

Carrie Stewart, age 87 of Springfield, died Friday, February 27, 2015 at Morningside in Springfield. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, March 2, 2015 at 10:00 AM in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Bond officiating. Interment will be held in Stewart's Cemetery in Putnam County at 3:00 PM on Monday. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 4 until 8 PM and Monday from 9 AM until the hour of service.
Mrs. Stewart was born October 2, 1927 in Van Buren County to the late Charles Estes and Claudia Lee Shelton Miller. She was a retired bookkeeper and was a partner of Miller Wholesale in Michigan. She attended Adairville Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Paulette West and husband Harold of Springfield and Terry Barrett and husband Jim of Cincinnati, OH; grandchildren, Brian West and wife Libby, Renee Beaty and husband Mike, Alexandra Barrett, and Lauren Barrett; and great grandson, Jacob Beaty.
The family request memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Cancer Society. All donations can be sent c/o Robertson County Funeral Home.
