Carol Creek Obituary

Wanda Carol Hester Creek, 69, of Cedar Hill, died Monday December 12, 2016 at Alive Hospice Skyline Madison Campus. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday December 14th at 10:00 a.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Rick Hester, John Traughber, Raymond Ellis, Gary Albright, Jeff Pulley, and James BJ Suter serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Creek was born July 1, 1947 in Simpson County, KY to the late James Major and Elsie Carter Summers. She was a homemaker and a member of Barren Plains Baptist Church. She enjoyed putting puzzles together, working word puzzles, playing cards, and especially spending time with her dog Petals. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands: William Eugene Hester and Sherman Creek, Jr.

Mrs. Creek is survived by her step-children: Rick Hester and wife Janie of Springfield, Sheila Locke and husband Bill of Springfield, Selena Orr and husband Mitch of Cross Plains, Lawrence Creek of Greenville, KY, Pam Suter, Shelia Walton, and Melissa Norris all of Cedar Hill, eleven step-grandchildren, twelve step-great grandchildren, and an additional step-great grandchild, Parker Ann Wilworth, will soon arrive in December.
