Bonnie Tydings Obituary

Bonnie May Grissom Tydings, 77, of White House, died Friday May 15, 2015 at Vanco Manor in Goodlettsville. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday May 19th at 2:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Springfield Memorial Gardens with Wayne Myers, Terence Moore, Brenden Moore, Curtis Grissom, Billy Stone, Tony Gibbs, Stan Gibbs, Steven Curtis serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Tydings was born February 18, 1938 in Bethpage, TN. She was a retired factory worker from Western Plastics. She enjoyed quilting, cooking, and playing her guitar. She was preceded in death by her father: Johnny Cox, her mother: Lucille Sadler Tucker, and her husband: Raymond Grissom. Mrs. Tydings is survived by her husband: Ralph Tydings, her daughter and son-in-law: Judy and Ricky Burton of White House, her step-daughter: Kristy Stone and husband Billy of Goodlettsville, brothers: Ronnie Tucker of Greenbrier and Terry Spann of Franklin, KY, sisters: Judy Bloodworth of Hendersonville, Shirley Whiting of Springfield, Audrey Blackburn of Springfield, Gayle Hickman of Springfield, grandchildren: Wayne Myers and Susan Moore, two great grandchildren, and three step grandchildren.
