Audrey Chapman Farrar

Audrey Chapman Farrar, age 95 of Springfield, died Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Morningside of Springfield. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 12:00 PM in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Rushing officiating. Burial will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Tommy Hudgens, Ken Toothman, David Hazelwood, John Farrar, Jim Wilkins, and Andy Powers serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Ford and Robert Drake. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 9 AM until the hour of service.
Mrs. Farrar was born November 12, 1922 in Lincoln County to the late James Hill and Lucy Gunter Chapman. She was a member of Main Street Church of Christ and was retired from Kroger where she worked in the meat department. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Warren Farrar; brother, Earl Wilson Chapman; and sister, Christine McCroy.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry B. and Michal Farrar of Germantown and Donald C. and Margaret Farrar of Ashland City; daughter, Ann Wilkins of Springfield; grandchildren, John Farrar, Katie Larson, Joy Sumner, Karen Sprouse, and Jim Wilkins; great grandchildren, Emily McGregor, Samantha Warick, Emma Larson, Addie Larson, and Sarah Larson; and great-great grandchildren, Audrey Warick, Nathan Warick, and Levi McGregor.
The family request, if so desired, for memorial contributions to be made to the American Heart Association. All donations can be sent c/o Robertson County Funeral Home.
