Anthony Gene "Tony" Felts

Anthony Gene "Tony" Felts, age 54 of Springfield, TN, died Tuesday evening at his home. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, November 6, 2015 at 12 pm in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery with Jay Kritsch, Scott Murphy, Troy Pearson, Justin Couts, Terry Martin and Noah Leighton serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 3-8 pm and again on Friday from 9 am until the hour of service at 12 pm.
Tony was born on August 17, 1961 in Robertson County, TN to Catherine Starks Felts and the late Nathan Gene Felts. He was a Christian who was the director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Springfield. He was a national director for Dixie Youth Baseball Organization and coached youth baseball for over 30 years, influencing generations of youth in Springfield.
Surviving Tony are his wife, Vickie Alexander Felts of Springfield; son, Clayton Anthony (Katie) Felts of Winchester, TN; daughter, Ana Catherine (Leslie) Felts-Hyams of Hopkinsville, KY; mother, Catherine Starks Felts of Hermitage; sister, Lisa Felts (Tom) Lynch of Mt. Juliet; grandchildren, Pazlee Whited and Taylor Glass; step-son, Brandon Whited of Springfield and step-daughter. Heather (Landon) Morris of Chapmansboro, TN.
The family request that if so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. All donations may be sent in care of the Robertson County Funeral Home.
