Ann Carter Obituary

Ann "Herbie" Carter, 64, of Orlinda, died Saturday January 17, 2015 at Skyline Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday January 24th at 10:00 a.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Bro. John Rushing officiating. Interment will follow in the Orlinda Cemetery with Weston Adams, Tim Wix, Billy Huff, Joseph Hodges, Jeff Wix, and Byron Hodges serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Logan and Drew Carter. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Carter was born May 15, 1950 in Robertson County to the late Arlo and Gladys Spivey. She was a retired produce manager from the Cross Plains Piggly Wiggly. Mrs. Carter was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Bobby Randall Carter, and by her son: Robert Randall Carter. Mrs. Carter is survived by her grandchildren: Logan, Drew, McKenzie, and Colton Carter, her brother: Billy Joe Spivey of Franklin, KY, and her sisters: Helen Clayborn of Springfield, Mabel Redferrin of Cross Plains, Margaret Warren of Portland, Diane Wix of Cross Plains, Linda Seabolt of Springfield, Wanda Tate of Orlinda, Betty Jo Hodges of Portland
