Agnes M. Robertson

Agnes M. Robertson, age 76 of Springfield, died Tuesday July 8, 2014. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm on Friday July 11, 2014 in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Rev. Diane Coppock officiating. Burial will follow in the Palestine Cemetery with Ronnie Wix, Kenneth Wix, Tony Walton, Mark Walton, Jeremy Robertson and Josh Hall serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 pm and again on Friday beginning at 10 am until the hour of service at 1 pm.
Mrs. Robertson was born March 11, 1938 in Robertson Co., TN to the late Joel B. and Gladys M. Durham Wilson. She was a member of Palestine UMC, a retired Nurse's Aide and loved to flower garden. Loving and spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren was a favorite thing of hers to do.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Robertson was also preceded in death by a brother, John Robert Wilson and nephew, Donnie R. Baldwin. Surviving her are her husband; Joe R. Robertson of Springfield, TN, sons and daughter-in-law; Richard A. Robertson of Springfield, Timothy B. and Sharon Robertson of Springfield, daughter and son-in-law; Rita Jo Robertson and Lanny Hall, brother and sister-in-law; J.B. and Joan Wilson of Mississippi, sisters and brother-in-law; Mary Louise Baldwin of Springfield, Patricia Ann and Julius Walton of Springfield, grandchildren; Joshua L. and Leslie Hall, Kaylea Jo Hall, Jeremey A. Robertson, Brandon Robertson, Samantha M. Robertson, Jeffrey Grayson and great grandchildren; Logan Hall, Jace Hall, Courtney Robertson and Cameron Robertson. The family request if so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Palestine Cemetery. All donations may be sent care of the Robertson County Funeral Home.
